CHAIN CLAMPS

Chain Clamps, Chain Dogs, or Sleeve Clamps! Whatever the name you go by, an indispensable way of securing large diameter hose in the field. Rugged and dependable they are the preferred method of attaching sleeves to the pipe. The clamp is placed on the sleeve with the head in any convenient position with the chain wrapped around the pipe and attached to a hook on the opposite side of the head. A few turns of the swiveled adjusting nut applies adequate pressure.

Suitable for all sizes from 6″ to 20″ diameter hoses. For large OD’s two or more may be used with the heads placed about 120° apart. Made of malleable iron, electric welded proof chain, and 1″ high carbon steel screw with ACME thread four to the inch.
